Downes Jacob

 

Jacob Downes is an associate in Hawley Troxell's Litigation, Insurance, and Employment practice groups in Boise. Jacob received his J.D. cum laude from Notre Dame Law School in 2024 and went on to serve as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Chief Justice G. Richard Bevan of the Idaho Supreme Court.

During law school, he completed the 2023 Hawley Troxell Summer Associate Program, where he drafted motions, pleadings, & responses to charges of discrimination before the Idaho Human Rights Commission and observed client proceedings and oral arguments before the Idaho Supreme Court. Jacob also spent a semester as a legal intern for Notre Dame Law School's Community Development Clinic, where he helped clients structure an LLC, obtain 501(c)(3) tax exempt status, and apply for property tax exemptions.

Prior to law school, Jacob attended Oklahoma State University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Science in 2020.

Silveria Tifani

 

Tifani Silveria is an associate in the firm's Employment & Labor and Litigation practice groups. Tifani has litigation experience at both the State and Federal level, having completed clerkships as a Term Law Clerk for U.S. Magistrate Judge Debora K. Grasham of the U.S. District Court, District of Idaho and as a Judicial Staff Attorney for District Judge Mitchell W. Brown of the Sixth Judicial District of Idaho.

Tifani received her J.D. from the Regent University School of Law in 2020 as a member of the Honors Program and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Regent Law Review from 2019-2020. As a J.D. candidate, she also served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Douglas E. Miller of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Virginia and for the Honorable David W. Lannetti of the Norfolk Circuit Court.

As an Undergraduate, Tifani attended the University of California, Davis, where she received a B.A. in Philosophy and a Minor in Professional Writing in 2014 as a member of the UC Davis Dance Team and the Alpha Phi International Fraternity.
