Description
Tune in as we detail the recent updates to the Idaho 529 plan. Learn how IDeal's Employer Program can assist you and your clients in participating in Idaho's Employer Tax Credit for funding employee's IDeal 529 accounts.
529s have had quite a few expansions in the last several years and 2024 was no different! Last year's change allowed for account owners to rollover funds into a Roth IRA in the name of the beneficiary. In recent years, changes include, allowing for costs associated with apprenticeships registered with the U.S Department of Labor, repayment of some qualified student loans, and providing employer tax incentives for direct contributions to their employees' accounts. Phew!
Join Nick Thiros as he provides the details on each of the changes and how they bring new opportunities to your individual and business owner clients.
