    Egbert Megan

Megan Egbert is an employment attorney with Idaho Employment Lawyers and a Representative in the Idaho Legislature for District 17. She works closely with employers to help them navigate workplace issues before they escalate into costly disputes, bringing a practical, solutions-focused approach shaped by her prior experience in management roles within public libraries and nonprofit organizations across Idaho. Appointed to the Legislature in 2024 and elected later that year, Megan serves on the Health and Welfare, Commerce and Human Resources, and Energy, Environment and Technology committees—giving her a unique perspective on how employment laws are created, interpreted, and applied in real-world business settings.

Megan enjoys helping business leaders and advisors understand complex legal requirements in a clear, approachable way, and she is passionate about equipping professionals with practical guidance they can use to better support their organizations and clients.
